Earlier this week, The Real Champs published a report stating that Man City were ready to make a £13m per year wage offer for the signing of Toni Kroos, as his current deal is set to expire this year.

Toni Kroos to Man City certainly seems like a transfer which makes sense from the player's and Man City's point of view but who are the winners and losers from Real Madrid's perspective?

Luka Modric (winner)

Luka Modric, like Toni Kroos, is a Real Madrid legend with a contract expiring this year. Since they both play in the midfield, it is likely that one would get in ahead of the other in the starting lineup, particularly in games which call upon experience.

If Toni Kroos does move to Man City, this inevitably leads to more game time for the former Tottenham Hotspur star Luka Modric.

Antonio Rudiger (loser)

Antonio Rudiger and Toni Kroos understandably have an excellent understanding of each other and a great relationship on and off the pitch. As the two Germany internationals in the Real Madrid setup, it is understandable that the two get along well.

With Toni Kroos moving to Man City, Antonio Rudiger would become the only Germany international in the first team setup.
