3 winners and 3 losers from Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid transfer
By Kian Long
2024 looks to be the year that Kylian Mbappe FINALLY joins Real Madrid. It's been a long time coming, as Los Blancos have been trying to sign Mbappe religiously over the last few years, to no success. News broke last month, though, that Mbappe would leave Paris Saint-Germain and had been offered a contract at Real Madrid.
3 winners and 3 losers from the Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid transfer
While fans are still waiting on the announcement, there is plenty to get excited about nonetheless. That said, here are 3 winners and 3 losers from the Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid transfer...
Winner 1 - Jude Bellingham
Jude Bellingham only signed for Real Madrid in the summer and after a breakout first season with Los Blancos, he will be partnered by a world-class striker. Bellingham has emerged into a second-striker for Real Madrid, somebody who can bridge the gap between midfield and attack. Now that he's playing off somebody with Kylian Mbappe's movement, Bellingham's link-up play and purposeful drive will be electric.
Loser 1 - Endrick
The Brazilian wonderkid Endrick will join Real Madrid this summer when he turns 18 years old. However, Mbappe's seemingly imminent arrival means Endrick will be pushed down the pecking order. While I'm sure Carlo Ancelotti has a plan in mind to develop Endrick efficiently, he won't like competing for a place with one of the best players in the world.
