Endrick to Real Madrid transfer could be delayed

Real Madrid have already signed the Brazil wonderkid Endrick from Palmeiras and as things stand, he is due to meet up with his new teammates in the summer. However, it is still up the air as to whether or not Endrick will arrive in time or if his final transfer will be delayed.

We reported last week that Palmeiras would like to take advantage of the Kylian Mbappe signing by persuading Real Madrid to push back the arrival of Endrick until December. However, Real Madrid are yet to accept this proposal.

Endrick to Real Madrid transfer could be delayed

According to a new claim from ESPN, Palmeiras have not given up hope and they would like to pursue one last push to convince Real Madrid to push his arrival back. It is thought that Real Madrid scout Juni Calafat will be in Brazil this week to watch Endrick play and the Palmeiras president, Leila Pereira, would like to take advantage of this by communicating with the Madrid official.

In Europe, it is common for pre-season to be played throughout summer, before the season commences around August. Therefore, it is in Real Madrid's best interest to get Endrick involved as soon as possible, so he can meet up with his new teammates and perhaps get some minutes on the board early doors.

Endrick is one of the hottest prospects to come out of Brazil in the last decade. He is already a Brazil international and he is proving himself to be prolific at such a young age. Therefore, the prospect of Carlo Ancelotti introducing him to an attack consisting of Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe and Rodrygo is truly terrifying for the rest of Europe.

It remains to be seen whether or not Real Madrid will be happy to push back to arrival of Endrick, but you cannot fault Palmeiras for trying to get the most out of him - If anything, it is a testament to the importance of Endrick.
