4. Fran Garcia

So far, since Fran Garcia was re-signed in 2023, he has played a rotational role in the squad. It is clear that Carlo Ancelotti's preference at left-back is Ferland Mendy. It is understandable, since the Frenchman has more experience in the team and he knows what is expected from him.

Fran Garcia will hope for more starts in La Liga next season but unfortunately, he is likely to be out of luck. If anything, Ferland Mendy solidified his position in the starting lineup throughout last campaign and with the Alphonso Davies deal falling through, Ancelotti's mind has not been swayed.

So, Fran Garcia could struggle for game-time in 2024/25. However, he could certainly make a name for himself by impressing in any opportunities given to him. He has proven to be a good option from the bench, so his aim will be to impress to the point of Ancelotti being forced to consider him in the starting lineup.
