A remarkable achievement to say the least and that has drawn the interest of top teams in the Real Madrid legend.

Two of his former clubs were believed to be frontrunners in the race for Alonso, Liverpool and Bayern Munich. Now, both of them find themselves in a difficult situation.

Jurgen Klopp has already announced his decision to leave Liverpool at the end of this season. Thomas Tuchel will be doing the same at Bayern Munich. Thus, two of Europe's biggest clubs will be without a manager come the summer.
