Real Madrid continued to build their lead atop the La Liga table, with a 4-2 win over Osasuna. The result combined with Girona's shaky form in recent weeks means that Los Blancos are now ten points clear in first. With just nine league games left to be played, it would be a bit of a miracle if they don't lift the trophy from this position.

Vinicius Junior was once again the hero of the day. The Brazilian international has been back to his best recently after a stop-start first half of the season.

He has scored six goals and provided an assist in his previous four appearances. That is tremendous for any player. But at the same time, it has not been all sunshine and rainbows for Vinicius. He has been shown a yellow card in each of those games as well.

It is quite clear that he needs to have better discipline on the pitch. As reported by AS, when asked about the matter, Ancelotti said that "he must control the pressure he has in the environment a little more".

Of course, no player is perfect. There is always going to be something that one needs to improve in. For Vinicius, it is his disciplinary record.

It is nothing that he cannot work on and improve upon though. It is important to remember that Vinicius is still just 23 years of age. He will get a lot wiser on the pitch as he gains more experience. Some things just come with time.

As of now, Ancelotti must be absolutely delighted with how Vinicius is playing. He is proving to be a difference maker one game after another. If that comes with a few yellow cards, that should not be a major problem, as long as he can avoid being suspended for important games.
