Real Madrid recently thumped their La Liga rivals Celta Vigo by a scoreline of 4-0. It was an impressive display from Carlo Ancelotti's men, who answered all the questions asked of them from their boring 1-1 stalemate against RB Leipzig in mid-week.

Although Real Madrid scored four goals, only half of them were credited to Real Madrid players. Vinicius Junior opened the scoring, while youngster Arda Guler closed the scoring. Between their two goals, Celta Vigo players contributed to two own goals. Still, Ancelotti had no complaints as every goal counts, regardless of how it comes.

Speaking after the match, the Italian boss had plenty to say as per usual. This time, Ancelotti was full of praise for one player in particular, Arda Guler. As mentioned, the Turkey sensation came off the bench to round off the game in perfect style and scoring his first La Liga goal in just 26 minutes (as per WhoScored).

Carlo Ancelotti hints Real Madrid may keep Arda Guler

According to Get Football News Spain, Ancelotti believes Guler is set for a big future and he has praised the youngster for his commitment to improving himself, despite playing little minutes since joining the football capital.

In his own words, Ancelotti said: “Arda Güler has played very little. But he was convinced that he could do something. He made a move of great ability. He is a great talent, he has improved a lot and plays with more intensity. He has a future here, there is no doubt about it.”

For those who aren't aware, Guler is one of the players linked with a move away from Real Madrid this summer. This is because it may be best for his development to travel on loan for a short period of time, so he can better fight for his place in this Real Madrid team. If these comments from Ancelotti are anything to go by, then Guler is close to reaching his target and may not require that loan move.
