Ranking every Real Madrid transfer in 2023/24 from worst to best

5. Arda Guler

Somebody has to take the last-place in this ranking list and unfortunately, that player is Arda Guler.

It would be unfair to label Guler as a bad player because he hasn't played many minutes for Los Blancos to prove himself to Carlo Anclotti or the fans. But for this very reason, he can be labelled as a bad signing (so far).

Guler is a promising young player and that's the reason why Real signed him in the summer transfer window. He had a lot of interest from top European clubs before his arrival, including none other than Barcelona. In the end, though, he opted for Real Madrid.

Currently, Guler is linked with a loan move away from the Spanish top flight leaders. In my opinion, this would be the best outcome for the Turkish international. After all, his game time doesn't look to improve at the Bernabeu anytime soon, so taking the time to develop at another club could work out well for him - Indeed, it worked out splendid for Brahim Diaz.
