If accurate, then the club would be signing one of the best players in the world as a free agent. But at the same time, arriving at Real Madrid in the summer might be better for him than doing so in the middle of the season. It would let him have a full pre-season with his new teammates and allow him some time to settle into life in Spain before the games come thick and fast.

Ultimately, Real Madrid have a fantastic recent record when it comes to developing youngsters and Endrick does seem like a special talent. So, the club should be confident about their ability to get the best out of him in the long run.
