Real Madrid have been world-class when it comes identifying talents in recent years. We have seen many clubs sign one wonderkid after another to little effect but that has not been the case for Los Blancos. Their youngsters are already delivering the goods and this team looks set for the next decade to come.

One player who is expected to be a centre-piece of Real Madrid for years to come is Eduardo Camavinga. The Frenchman was signed in the summer of 2021 from Rennes and has developed into a key player for the team since then.

Camavinga has made 130 appearances for Real Madrid already and it is impressive that he is still just 21 years of age. He has a long and bright career ahead of him. The Frenchman already knows the perfect place to retire though.

It is none other than Real Madrid. As reported by Forbes, Camavinga said in an interview with Telefoot:

"If I can finish my career at Real Madrid? Of course, I want to end my [sporting] life here. Real Madrid is everyone's dream."

One of Camavinga's biggest strengths has proven to be his versatility. While he is considered a midfielder, one could argue that the Frenchman is also Real Madrid's most reliable option at left-back.

His ability to play in a variety of roles has pretty much become a joke on the internet. It is a great option to have if you are Carlo Ancelotti though.

Camavinga's rise at Real Madrid has been meteoric. It is easy to forget but in the first half of the previous season, he was struggling to get consistent playing time. There were even some suggestions for him to be sent out on loan to gain experience or even be included as part of the deal for Jude Bellingham.

Camavinga did start to get more opportunities after the World Cup. And he deserves a ton of credit for making the most of them.
