Harry Kane makes bold claim about Real Madrid game
Real Madrid will face most probably the toughest test remaining in their 23/24 campaign when they travel to Germany to take on Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena in the Champions League semi-finals. Now, don't get us wrong, Carlo Ancelotti's side have to be considered heavy favourites going into this tie.
Thomas Tuchel's side have had a very ordinary season by their own standards and the Bavarian club have failed to win the Bundesliga for the first time in over a decade. They have the chance to put it all right though by winning the Champions League.
That is easier said than done with Real Madrid standing in their way in the semi-finals. These two teams have been involved in some epic Champions League ties over the years and this one should not be any different.
It would be safe to say that if Bayern Munich are to get past Real Madrid in semi-finals, they will need Harry Kane to be at his very best. Despite the club's inconsistent form, the English striker has scored for fun this season and seems to be confident heading into the semis, as he continues to search for the elusive first trophy.
Kane makes bold claim about Real Madrid game
The Englishman has found the back of the net 42 times in as many games this season. As tweeted by Kerry Hau, when asked how many goals he is going to score against Real Madrid, Kane replied:
"A few, hopefully. I'm in a good mood and confident. If my colleagues serve me like they have all season, then I'll be there."
It remains to be seen whether Kane will be able to score against Real Madrid or not. It will not be an easy task for sure.
Real Madrid have been pretty resolute at the back this season, despite having key defenders out injured for long spells. They have conceded just 22 goals in 33 La Liga games, which is miles better than even the second-best defensive team in the league, Athletic Bilbao.
