Jamal Musiala is considered one of the best talents in world football and it is not hard to understand why. He has been one of the shining lights for both Bayern Munich and the German national team in recent years. It is not just that his output is impressive but his overall quality as well. He brings a lot more to the table than just goals and assists. Unsurprisingly, Real Madrid are one of the clubs to be linked with him.
Real Madrid have the best set of talent in world football. If they were to sign Musiala as well, one would wonder where he would fit in.
But then, there are serious doubts over the future of Vinicius Jr at the moment. If the Brazilian did end up leaving, there could be a void for Musiala to fill in the Real Madrid starting XI, thanks to his versatility.
Musiala's current contract with Bayern Munich is believed to run out in the summer of 2026 and the German club have had a tough time agreeing extensions with their top players recently. Alphonso Davies is widely expected to join Real Madrid as a free agent next summer.
Jamal Musiala breaks silence on future amid Real Madrid links
As reported by GOAL, when asked about his Bayern Munich contract, which is expiring in June 2026, Musiala told Welt Am Sonntag:
"I'm very happy at FC Bayern and fully focused on our goals. Playing abroad like Bellingham? I'm not thinking about where I will be in five years. Things can always change quickly in the world of football."
That is pretty much the answer you would expect from a footballer keeping his cards close to his chest. Let's see how things play out in the Musiala saga over the coming months.
To be honest, there is not of excitement around Bayern Munich at the moment. Perhaps that is the reason why quite a few have chosen to depart the Bavarian club in recent years. Could Musiala be one of the next to do so?
