World-class striker dreams of joining Real Madrid

Real Madrid never really replaced Karim Benzema, who joined Al-Ittihad last summer. They brought in Joselu on a season-long loan deal and to be fair, the Spaniard exceeded most expectations and was a vital part in them winning the Champions League and La Liga double. He is no longer at the club though and Carlo Ancelotti has had to change his system once again.

Right now, Kylian Mbappe is playing as the most central option in a fluid front three with Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo. The results have been mixed so far.

On the other hand, Vinicius has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League. The possibility of that happening has not been ruled out and there are suggestions that the Brazilian international is thinking about the astronomical offer.

If Vinicius were to leave, Real Madrid would need to sign a replacement in the future. There have suggestions that they have Nico Williams on their radar already. But could they move Mbappe to the left flank instead and bring in a more natural striker.

As reported by Fichajes, Viktor Gyokeres is on Real Madrid's radar as a possible future signing. The Swede dreams of wearing the Spanish club's shirt one day.

Gyokeres might be playing in Portugal right now, at Sporting Lisbon, but he is one of the best strikers in Europe. The Swede scored 43 goals in all competitions last season and appears to have taken his game up a level this time.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has registered 7 goals and 3 assists in 5 appearances for Sporting CP so far this season. Gyokeres also scored once and assisted twice in Sweden's recent game against Azerbaijan.

Gyokeres is a striker in the form of his life. He looks like a complete forward and a top club will sign him soon.
