Real Madrid are expected to make a Galactico signing in the near future. Kylian Mbappe has been linked with the club for years and seems like the most likely arrival next summer. His current deal with PSG runs out at the end of the campaign and he is yet to agree an extension. While many expect a move to Santiago Bernabeu transpire for the Frenchman, Erling Haaland's name has never really been out of the rumour mill either.

Haaland has been fantastic ever since he joined Manchester City. He inspired Pep Guardiola's side to a treble last season, breaking several individual records along the way.

Yet, there is believed to be a release clause that will become active in his contract next summer. And for some reason, it has never felt like Manchester City will be Haaland's long-term home. He has been at the club only a season-and-a-half but there is already very little left to achieve there.

Real Madrid have been linked with Haaland since his time at Borussia Dortmund. Could the Norwegian superstar end up wearing the Royal White jersey soon?

As reported by ElDesmarque, Haaland is not comfortable in Manchester. He likes the club but can't stand the city. The rainy and grey climate does not brighten his day and he makes trips, when he can, to Marbella. The release clause is €150 million.

Of course, €150 million is a significant fee to shell out for most. But for someone with Haaland's record, that would have to be considered as a bit of a bargain.

If the reports of him being uncomfortable in Manchester are accurate then Real Madrid might have a decent chance of signing him. At the same time, Haaland must have been aware of the city's climate before making the move, as his father used to play for the club.
