Real Madrid have their work cut out for them in the summer transfer window. As the best club in the world, it is natural that they are targeting the best and most premium options. This comes at not only a financial cost, but a psychological one too. It essentially means that the biggest clubs in the world, Manchester United and Liverpool included in that list, will compete with Madrid in the transfer market.

Indeed, the Premier League duo is allowing for little to no breathing room from Real Madrid this summer. They are targeting the same player which Carlo Ancelotti would like to sign and they have already made bids, showing they are currently ahead of Real Madrid in the race. The player in question being Leny Yoro.

Manchester United and Liverpool bid for Real Madrid transfer target

According to MARCA, Manchester United and Liverpool have already made bids for Leny Yoro. The 18-year-old LOSC defender is in high demand and it is believed that Man United and Liverpool have both been more proactive than Real Madrid. However, it is in Los Blancos' favour that Yoro would prefer to move to Real - This has not changed.

Indeed, it is a common occurrence faced by Real Madrid. Time and time again, they enter competition in the transfer window, with the player preference working in their favour. After all, there was competition for the likes of Kylian Mbappe, but the player ultimately chose Real Madrid over the other suitors. Hopefully, the same happens with Leny Yoro.

Undeniably, there is a lot of money in the Premier League. As the most profitable league in the world, it is common practice for English sides to throw money at players and clubs. This is why some of the biggest players in history have played in the Premier League. Real Madrid prefer a gentler approach, which has won them some incredible bargains throughout the years.

However, the one straw which Real Madrid are clutching at is that Leny Yoro is holding out for a move to the Spanish capital.
