Real Madrid might be enjoying a great season right now, but that does not mean that they do not need to strengthen their squad in upcoming transfer windows. In fact, the club are lacking in options in several positions, and it is credit to the players and the coaching team that they have done so well despite their limitations.
Left-back is one position where Real Madrid will hopefully bring someone in next summer. Ferland Mendy's future at the club is in doubt, as it is believed that Los Blancos are open to parting ways with the Frenchman.
On the other hand, Fran Garcia returned in the summer but is yet to convince that he is good enough to be a starter for Real Madrid. So, do not be surprised if the club sign a left-back soon.
Alphonso Davies is someone who has been heavily linked with a switch to Real Madrid recently. But Premier League clubs are believed to be interested in him as well. On the other hand, there is a genuine possibility that he could sign an extension with Bayern Munich. So, Los Blancos must have alternative targets.
Real Madrid could make €50 million offer for Juventus player
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, a player on the radar of Real Madrid is Andrea Cambiaso. The intention would be to go straight to the next summer window and make an offer, between €40 million and €50 million.
Cambiaso is 23 years of age and has managed to establish himself as a starter for Juventus this season. His versatility is impressive. He can play as a left-back, or as a wing-back, on the left or the right.
It remains to be seen if Real Madrid end up making a transfer move for Cambiaso. They have been linked with plenty of left-backs recently. Another option would be to bring back Miguel Gutierrez from Girona.
