Real Madrid stumbled out of the gates this season but have certainly steadied themselves in recent games. The win over Espanyol was their fourth straight in all competitions and it is worth reminding everyone that they are yet to lose in this campaign. So, the situation is not nearly as bad as many might make it out to be.

Someone who is yet to make his mark this season is Jude Bellingham. The Englishman was arguably Real Madrid's most important player in the previous campaign but has dealt with injury problems early on.

The good news is that Bellingham has returned to the pitch. But some rumours have been doing the rounds that suggest that his condition remains a concern for the club. He fell awkwardly on his shoulder early in the game against Espanyol.

Judging by Carlo Ancelotti's recent comments, that is not the case although Bellingham is set to play with protection as a cautionary measure. As reported by ESPN, the Real Madrid manager said in a news conference:

"It's the same shoulder as last year.

"The problem he had the other day hasn't affected him. He'll wear protection, just to be safe, but he's available, he'll play."

Bellingham is integral to Real Madrid playing well. His absence is one of the reasons behind the club's early season struggles.

Bellingham is a player who can affect games with both goals and assists. What is more, he is capable of rising to the occasion when the team needs him most. That is the kind of player that you cannot simply replace.

One can only hope that Bellingham returns to full fitness as soon as possible. On the other hand, it does look like the likes of Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe are starting to gel more going forward, which is fantastic news as well.

Endrick is someone who has shown the ability to affect games as well, scoring twice and winning a penalty in the limited playing time he has received in his cameo appearances off the bench. He should get even better as he gains more experience.
