Real Madrid have been tirelessly linked with a move for Kylian Mbappe, not just in recent weeks but in recent years. In fact, ever since before the Frenchman signed for Paris Saint-Germain, he was linked with a move to the Bernabeu. The speculation from world media is understandable, though, since it would be an incredible sight to see Mbappe and Vinicius Junior on the same team.

One person who may be sick and tired of the deflection from his team to Mbappe is Carlo Ancelotti. One of the greatest managers of all time is rarely questioned about his team, but instead a player who currently represents elsewhere. Indeed, Don Carlo has vocally expressed his frustration about this.

Real Madrid boss ignores Kylian Mbappe question by hyping Vinicius Junior

According to Goal, Carlo Ancelotti ignored a question about Real Madrid signing Kylian Mbappe, by claiming his side ALREADY have the best players in the world.

Here's what Ancelotti had to say, when asked about Mbappe: "You keep asking about a player who plays for another team. We already have the best players in the world here. In order: Vini Jr first, Bellingham second, Rodrygo third. Then Kroos, Valverde, Camavinga…"

I must say, I can understand where Ancelotti is coming from. Fresh off beating La Liga challengers Girona in a comfortable manner, to be asked about a player who plays for another club is disrespectful to him and his team.

As exciting as the prospect of Kylian Mbappe representing Real Madrid is, it isn't promised and it isn't current. Now, Real Madrid find themselves in a better position to push for the league title, five points clear of their closest competition. Between now and the end of the season, Ancelotti's only priority will be to add to his illustrious trophy cabinet.

Meanwhile, talks between Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappe may have hit a significant obstacle in the shape of the player's agent. You can read more about this development by clicking here.
