By Kian Long
Real Madrid has been the home to many legendary players and managers. The culture in the football capital has often embraced bringing back club legends to manage, with the finest example in recent times being Zinedine Zidane.
The legendary French player had a splendid time destroying the midfield during his prime. He has since returned for two stints as club manager, with his first being the most notable. He won the Champions League in three consecutive seasons, showing the dominance which Los Blancos had on the rest of Europe at the time.
Zidane has never managed any other club except Real Madrid but this could soon change. In recent times, Zidane has been linked with the Bayern Munich opening as current manager Thomas Tuchel is struggling for form and walking on a tightrope. Zidane is joined in line for the Bayern opening by other Real Madrid hall of famers, including Xabi Alonso and Jose Mourinho.

According to a report by Sport, Zinedine Zidane is open to returning to management for the Bayern Munich job. It remains to be seen, though, if the Bavarian side will take him up on the offer, since they remain insistent about sticking with Thomas Tuchel.
Bayern Munich have an elite presence in Europe, so it is easy to imagine Zinedine Zidane as their head coach. It goes without saying they have an elite presence in Germany too since they dominate the Bundesliga most seasons. They just need someone to steer them back on the right path, with Bayer Leverkusen overtaking them this year.
Zinedine Zidane is always sought-after. Given everything he achieved in a short period of time with Real Madrid, it is scary to think what he could achieve as a long-term manager. It will be interesting to see whether he returns to management for Bayern Munich.
