Real Madrid player close to joining La Liga rivals

There has been speculation about the futures of a few Real Madrid players this summer. Vinicius Junior has been in the headlines most recently, with it looking like he is a target for the Saudi Pro League. It remains to be seen whether the Brazilian international considers a Santiago Bernabeu exit while playing at a Ballon d'Or level in Europe.

There are other Real Madrid players who could be heading for the exit door as well. And it looks like one player is very close to departing, although in his case, he will be staying in the Spanish top flight.

As reported by Mundo Deportivo, Juanmi Latasa is one step away from becoming a new Real Valladolid player. Betis, Espanyol and Getafe asked about him, as did Torino and Fiorentina.

juanmi spent the previous season on loan at Getafe and played a decent bit of football there. At 23 years of age, he needs to be getting game time. He has made only one senior appearance for Real Madrid so far despite having been a standout at the youth level.

Of course, it is never nice to see one of the club's own leave. But it might be the best for all parties involved.

There was seemingly quite a bit of interest in the signature of Juanmi, in Spain and from abroad. But he has chosen Real Valladolid as his next destination.

Juanmi is expected to get regular playing time at Real Valldolid, something that simply was not going to happen at Real Madrid. On the other hand, his departure will not have a major impact on Carlo Ancelotti's side to be very honest. So, we can only wish the youngster the best of luck and hope that he goes on to succeed elsewhere.
