Real Madrid have said goodbye to a lot of legends in recent years and interestingly, quite a few of them have ended up in the Saudi Pro League. Cristiano Ronaldo is at Al-Nassr. Karim Benzema plays for Al-Ittihad. And there are plenty of others who could follow suit in the years to come. The majority have left at the twilight of their careers though.

On the other hand, there is one Real Madrid player who is not even in his prime yet. But that has not stopped him from being presented with an offer to head to the Saudi Pro League.

The player in question is Vinicius Junior. He is amongst the favourites to win the next Ballon d'Or and is one of the faces of Real Madrid right now.

But as reported by ESPN, emissaries sought out the Brazilian's staff and presented initial figures that would represent an annual salary of up to €350 million. Vinicius and his staff did not reject the approach, maintaining the possibility of an agreement.

Of course, they had tried to sign Mbappe in an even bigger deal not too long ago. but the Frenchman decided to remain in Europe, and made the move to Real Madrid this summer. It remains to be seen whether his presence ends up having an effect on Vinicius' place in Carlo Ancelotti's plans.

It is understandable why Vinicius' camp would not reject the approach outright. The numbers involved are just far too big to do that.

That being said, one would hope that Vinicius remains at Real Madrid for the foreseeable future. He is 24 years of age and it is way too early for him to make a move of that nature. The Brazilian international winger is one of the best in the world right now and continuously improving his game as well.
