The French left-back has had to deal with injuries for years but has put together a very impressive string of performances this season. However, despite his current good form, the club may be ready to part ways with him.

The Frenchman's future at Santiago Bernabeu is well and truly up in the air. As reported by Relevo, the move that Real Madrid wants to carry out involves transferring Mendy to make way for Alphonso Davies.

Since his arrival in the summer of 2019, Mendy has been consistently dealing with injuries which could be a key factor in the club looking towards Davies. The Frenchman still has one year left on his contract and has been linked with clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United in recent times.
