Real Madrid could sell fringe midfielder for €15m in the transfer window

Despite there being under 48 hours remaining in the summer transfer window, Real Madrid could still sell Dani Ceballos. Real Madrid will accept a €15m fee.
So far, Real Madrid have had a very good summer transfer window. Since announcing the signings of Endrick and Kylian Mbappe, Los Blancos have been quiet but given the magnitude of the arrivals, they really didn't need to spend over the odds on more players.
So, this summer has primarily centred around player exits. The last thing Carlo Ancelotti wants is an inflated squad, so it was a necessary task, carried out well.
As we are in the final two days of the summer transfer window, what has been said about Dani Ceballos' potential exit?
Real Madrid could sell fringe midfielder for €15m in the transfer window
According to a report from Mario Cortegana of The Athletic, Real Madrid are considering offers for Dani Ceballos. They are willing to let him go for around €15m.
Understandably, Real Madrid would prefer a permanent sale of Dani Ceballos, rather than sending him out on loan, with or without an option to buy.
Real Madrid will not step in the way if Dani Ceballos wishes to leave the club. While the timing is a frustration, Carlo Ancelotti and Florentino Perez would prefer to only house players who want to play for the club.
It remains to be seen whether or not Real Madrid will replace Dani Ceballos. He is not a sure-starter, but the void left by selling him would be felt, particularly considering Eduardo Camavinga's injury.
This season, Real Madrid were already depleted in the midfield position. Toni Kroos retired from the club, the weight of the decision felt drastically by Real Madrid.
Real Madrid have been linked to midfielders in the summer transfer window but they have decided, until this point, not to sign anyone. Ideally, the sale of Dani Ceballos would spark them into action in this regard.
However, only Carlo Ancelotti and Florentino Perez know their transfer strategy. Real Madrid fans must await to see if there is movement in the transfer market in its final days.
