Real Madrid are already set to add Kylian Mbappe and Endrick to their ranks this summer. One of them is arguably the best player in the world. The other is possibly the biggest talent of the next generation. That must be a scary thought for opposition teams when you consider that Los Blancos are already European and Spanish champions.
There are other areas where Real Madrid could look to strengthen further. Midfield might very well be one of them.
Toni Kroos has retired and he was a stalwart for Los Blancos for a decade. It will be pretty much impossible to replace him. Will Real Madrid look to add another midfielder to their ranks to bolster their options in the middle of the park?
Well, it looks like they do have a French international midfielder in their sights. But he could prefer a move to Old Trafford.
Real Madrid target wants to join Manchester United
As reported by CaughtOffside, Adrien Rabiot’s agents are in talks with Barcelona, Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, and Liverpool. The Frenchman's preference is to continue his career in the Premier League and he fancies a move to Old Trafford.
Rabiot would not be the most popular signing around but he certainly has top level experience under his belt. He has made over 200 appearances for both PSG and Juventus. He has also appeared almost 50 times for the France national team, arguably the best international side on the planet over the past decade.
At 29 years of age, Rabiot is in the middle of his prime and perhaps even more importantly, he is available as a free agent. On top of that, Carlo Ancelotti has already worked with him at PSG.
Someone like Rabiot could be a shrewd addition for Real Madrid. But it looks like the Frenchman has his heart set on a move to the Premier League this summer.
