The good news for Real Madrid is that both Eder Militao and Vinicius Junior are back in contention.
The former was missing for a long time through injury but he featured as a substitute against Athletic Club. Carlo Ancelotti may feel, though, that he needs more time to be ready for a game of this magnitude.
The latter, Vinicius Junior, missed the last match against Athletic Club due to suspension. He will be eligible to play in this Champions League match against Man City.
So, the injury woes are shortened from three to two players. Thibaut Courtois and David Alaba remain injured, so they will not feature in this match.
Dani Ceballos is back in contention after a short period out of the main group. That said, the chances of him starting this game are slim regardless or injury.

Pep Guardiola can consider starting Ederson again in this match. The Brazilian has been out of action for almost a month but he was an unused substitute against Crystal Palace at the weekend. The Real Champs confirmed that Pep is considering him in the starting lineup.
