Real Madrid are a club at the top of their game right now. Having recently won the Champions League, La Liga and the Supercopa de España, it is easy to fall into the trap of thinking that every single player is happy. This is a false reality as there are bound to be some unsettled players who from a personal perspective, would be happier elsewhere, even with less success.

This is because decisions made by the club have a ripple effect on the squad. For example, bringing in Kylian Mbappe and Endrick only increases the competition to become top-dog at the Bernabeu. That said, players will begin dropping like flies. That's just the price Real Madrid must pay for the excellent reward of signing world-class talent.

One player who is currently unsettled at Real Madrid is their Juvenil A player Paulo Iago. The midfielder who ages just 17 years old is linked with a move away and according to recent reports, he has handed in a transfer request.

As per The Athletic (h/t GSFN), Paulo Iago has informed Real Madrid that he would like to leave the club this summer. This is due to Iago and his team failing to reach a compromise with Real Madrid over his contract situation. There is also believed to be a dispute about the amount of game-time which is feesible to offer Iago.

In truth, Real Madrid have not seen much from Iago to promise him much game-time at this stage of his career. He is yet to make an appearance for the first team and as proven time and time again throughout history, only after a player plays for the Real Madrid first team can they be judged on their quality. After all, first team is completely different to the youth setup.
