Rodrygo has had quite the journey at Real Madrid since joining the club from Santos in 2019. He had a somewhat shaky start in the Spanish capital, as most would have expected, and played the role of an impact substitute for most of his early years with the club. But the Brazilian international has made a lot of strides lately and grown into a regular starter in Carlo Ancelotti's side.

It is also worth remembering that he is just 23 years of age. If he can continue developing and remain injury-free, Rodrygo could be a stalwart for the club for the next decade to come.

Real Madrid could add one major name to their forward department in the summer, if things go according to plan. That is none other than Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for years now. Next summer could be the perfect time to finally make it happen with his contract with PSG set to run out. There have been conflicting rumours around the move. Some reports have suggested that the Frenchman has already decided to join Los Blancos. Other rumours have claimed that nothing is set in stone and it is still a fluid situation.

What would the Real Madrid dressing room's reaction be to bringing in someone like Mbappe? Rodrygo certainly seems like someone who is all for it.

As reported by GOAL, while speaking to the media, Rodrygo said:

"I would love Mbappe to come. I always want to play with the best players and he's one of the best in the world. I can't talk much about him. He's a PSG player and I have to respect him."

Of course, Mbappe joining Real Madrid would be great for the club, both on and off the field. That being said, there have been some suggestions that they could part ways with Vinicius Junior, if the Frenchman does arrive.

That is something that Los Blancos should not do. On his day, the Brazilian can be just as good as the French World Cup winner. A trio of Mbappe, Vinicius and Rodrygo up top would be absolutely fantastic though.
