Finally, the dreaded international break has come to an end. For Real Madrid, they will be excited to welcome back their star players and continue their quest to reclaim the league title.

Last season, Real Madrid won La Liga relatively comfortably. They were not challenged until the end, with the opposite scenario expected this season. Indeed, Barcelona have begun the season well, so Real Madrid have some catching up to do.

So far this season, Real Madrid have been unfortunate with injuries and suspensions. However, the international break has served them well (unlike some other La Liga sides).

In the buildup to Real Sociedad vs Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti was glad to see three Real Madrid superstars return to training.

According to a report from Diario AS, Real Madrid welcomed Aurelien Tchouameni, Jude Bellingham and Eder Militao back to training. It is a welcomed boost for Carlo Ancelotti, with Eder expected to be starting eleven fit.

Aurelien Tchouameni and Jude Bellingham are not expected to start in San Sebastien on Saturday, but they are expected to play a role in the squad. In fact, they will travel and are likely to be available from the bench at least.

Without a doubt, having Eder Militao back in contention is the biggest boost for Real Madrid, anyway. Without him in the lineup, Carlo Ancelotti would have needed to rotate his options in the defence, perhaps playing his best defenders in weakened positions.

Real Madrid have many midfielders injured but thankfully, they have many midfielders available too. There is no rush to involve Bellingham and Tchouameni again, with Federico Valverde and Luka Modric expected to start in the midfield.

It is worth noting that Dani Ceballos and Eduardo Camavinga remain injured for Real Madrid, so Carlo Ancelotti is just missing two midfield options now.

Also, David Alaba remains sidelined through a lengthy injury. These are the only three players ruled out for Real Madrid against Real Sociedad this weekend.
