Vinicius Junior knows he has won Real Madrid's 13th Ballon d'Or

Vinicius Junior is the favourite to win the 2024 Ballon d'Or. In fact, the Real Madrid forward already knows that he's won the award, prior to the event.

Vinicius Junior has had a tremendous year. Not only did he win the double with Real Madrid last season but he was a key part, scoring in the UEFA Champions League final.

The Brazil international, therefore, is widely tipped to win the 2024 Ballon d'Or. He is in competition with his Real Madrid teammates Jude Bellingham, Dani Cravajal and Kylian Mbappe, who are also high in the pecking order.

However, Vinicius Junior may have already received word to be excited. Indeed, the Brazil international now has every reason to believe he's won the award.

Vinicius Junior knows he has won Real Madrid's 13th Ballon d'Or

According to MARCA, Vinicius Junior already knows he will receive an award at the 2024 Ballon d'Or ceremony. In fact, the ceremony will be centred around showering Vinicius in gold for his tremendous work in the buildup.

Usually, it is difficult to predict the Ballon d'Or winner. This is because for the last generation, the award was dominated by Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, proving a tough battle.

This time around, though, there will be no arguments. Vinicius Junior is the best player in the world and he is deserving of the title.

Granted, it will be a tough one to take for his competitors, most notably Rodri of Man City. However, those associated with Real Madrid, even Vini's competition for the award, will commemorate him for his deserved golden ball.

If Vinicius Junior wins the award, which looks even more likely after MARCA's claim, it will be the 13th time a Real Madrid player has won the award. Vini would also become the ninth individual Real Madrid player to win the award.

Four Brazilian players have won the Ballon d'Or award, a total of five times. So, Vinicius Junior would be proud to represent not just Real Madrid but his country too.
