Real Madrid take on Arsenal in the Champions League quarterfinal, hoping to overturn a 3-0 deficit at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday.
Real Madrid went behind in a shocking display where they conceded two gorgeous free kicks from Declan Rice, and Mikel Merino added a third to worsen Real Madrid's misery.
Real Madrid now have to go to the Bernabeu hoping to get everything clicking for the first time all season.
Even though there are a few suspensions and injuries that make it more obvious, predicting what is going on in Carlo Ancelotti's head is always a tall order.
Regardless, here is the predicted lineup for Real Madrid against Arsenal for Wednesday:
GK Thibaut Courtois
The most obvious choice in the lineup - even more so than Kylian Mbappe. Courtois is the best goalkeeper in the world, and is the reason for Real Madrid's glimmer of hope for the second leg. Also, Andriy Lunin is injured.
RB Fede Valverde
Fede Valverde did not give his best performance against Arsenal at the Emirates last week, but he was still one of the better Real Madrid players on the pitch. Real Madrid need to attack more, but they also need to be more attentive to Arsenal's counter attacks. Lucas Vazquez will prove to be a liability, which is why Valverde has to take this position.
CB Raul Asencio
Real Madrid's best center-back this season has to start in the biggest game of the season so far. Rudiger has been great too, but having Asencio next to him has proved to be a great decision by Ancelotti. This is another no-brainer.
CB Antonio Rudiger
On Rudiger's day, he is the best defender in the world. He has to be more attentive and active on and off the ball, but he has to start as well.
LB Fran Garcia
Solid option at left-back. He was good against Alaves, and David Alaba was anything but that against Arsenal. This should also be a no-brainer.
DM Aurelien Tchouameni
Tchouameni's return would help Real Madrid quite a bit. He was missing in the first leg due to suspension, but he will be back for this huge game. Having him sit in front of the defenders would be vital for Real Madrid as they deal with Arsenal counters.
CM Jude Bellingham
The best midfielder in the world. One of Real Madrid's best players this season by some distance. No brainer.
CM Dani Ceballos
Ceballos has been brilliant as well, and he finally returned from injury in the 1-0 win against Alaves. He looked brilliant in the cameo he made, and I expect him to take his place in the lineup.
RW Rodrygo
Rodrygo needs to start playing like himself again, but his defensive work cannot be forgotten. He has been great in that regard, and could once again be crucial in a big game like this.
CF Kylian Mbappe
Real Madrid's best forward this season - even despite the horrible red card he picked up on the weekend - and this is the perfect game for him to bounce back. He lives for these games. Hopefully he is able to turn up.
LW Vinicius Jr
What I wrote about Mbappe could well apply to Vinicius Jr. He has been out of form since the turn of the year, and he has had a brilliant streak of a goal involvement in every single Champions League knockout he has played bar two. He has to get back into the swing of things, and he lives for these games as well.
