Rodrygo is set to schedule talks with Real Madrid representatives after his vacation to discuss his future with the club. It has been learned that the club won’t close the door on him and will allow him to depart should a suitable offer be brought forward.

He has drawn real interest from Arsenal, who highly rate the player. At the Emirates, Mikel Arteta is a fan of the Brazilian and sees him as a signature star on the left.

There was also some interest from Saudi Arabia, but it fell silent very soon after.

But the situation is clear: Rodrygo does not have a guaranteed place at Real Madrid, and he knows that very well.

Amidst this, another Premier League club has developed interest in the winger, and the story, if believed, speaks of solid attention from Arsenal’s north London rivals.

Tottenham want to make Rodrygo a transfer target

According to Diario AS, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has approved a transfer budget of over €200 million following their Europa League triumph, and they are planning to include Rodrygo within that bracket.

Levy is reported to be preparing negotiations with Real Madrid for the player and hopes to bring the price down from even €90 million. He will probably try to leverage the good relationship between the two clubs to make that happen.

Fabrizio Romano earlier revealed that Real Madrid had set a €100 million price tag on Rodrygo, the amount from which they aim to begin negotiations. Depending on the situation, they could lower the price to what they see fit for the Brazilian, but €100 million will certainly be the starting point.

The interest in Rodrygo keeps growing, and honestly, it’s delightful to see that. He truly deserves to be at a place where he fits, and where his best form is appreciated. Sadly, Real Madrid has ceased to be that place. He no longer fits, and it’s best he moves on.
