Real Madrid have so much young talent in their ranks, it is actually unfair. They are loaded in most positions, and that is not even including their academy players.
So many great players are at the club in every position, from Eduardo Camavinga to Arda Guler in midfield, and players like Endrick and Gonzalo Garcia in attack - there is talent everywhere.
Even at Castilla and La Fabrica, Real Madrid are making brilliant players from a very young age, and one of those players has caught the eye of Alvaro Arbeloa and Xabi Alonso.
Alonso has enjoyed having Thiago Pitarch play a few minutes in Real Madrid's two friendly matches.
Thiago Pitarch is in the squad for Real Madrid vs Mallorca
In fact, he has enjoyed his minutes so much that he has asked Pitarch to travel to all Real Madrid games so far.
He was in the squad for the games against Osasuna and Real Oviedo, and now, in his third match in charge, Alonso has named him in the teamsheet again.
Pitarch has yet to play an official, competitive minute for the club, but if he is getting call-ups this soon, that is bound to happen at some point.
In a press conference earlier on Friday, Alonso was asked about Pitarch, and he confirmed to the media his opinion on him and whether he will be in the squad list, before it was even announced.
He said: "I didn't know him very well, but I liked him from the first day. He's very dynamic, energetic; he knows how to play between the lines... and against Leganés, he scored, coming from the second line.
"He's helping us now that Jude and Camavinga are missing. Knowing there are players at Castilla who can strengthen us is very good. He'll be called up again."
Those are great words from Alonso for a player who has yet to even play a competitive minute for Castilla. Pitarch was only going to get promoted this year - Arbeloa was testing him out in friendlies to see where his level was at - and now, he may even make a few first-team appearances.
If he does do that, I do hope that Pitarch is able to keep playing matches even after the return of Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga. He is a profile that Real Madrid don't have in midfield, and having him on the bench would open up a lot of options for Alonso in some games.
