Real Madrid midfielder Manuel Angel is set to leave the club before the end of the transfer window, according to a report from AS.
Angel is one of the most talented midfielders that Real Madrid have produced in the last few years, as his technicality on the ball is very impressive.
The way he turns with the ball and how strong he is for his size is really impressive for any player, but especially Angel, who has impressed for Castilla as well as the first team.
He is now 22, though, and it looks like he's not going to be getting a role like Thiago Pitarch has at Real Madrid's first team. This means he will end up leaving for another club before the end of this current summer transfer window.
Angel is a great talent. His development was stunted by some injuries in the past that didn't really allow him to play that many minutes for Castilla during his first season as club captain.

However, last season was very good for the young Spaniard. He made his debut for the first team and he played a lot of good and important minutes for Castilla as well, who got very close to promotion.
However, even though he looked like the more composed and ready player out of him and Pitarch when he was playing for the first team, Real Madrid probably believe that Thiago has more talent, as he's also a few years younger than Angel.
This means him staying with the first team is more beneficial to both the club and the player instead of his captain at Castilla.
Any La Liga club should be pretty happy if a deal is struck between Real Madrid and them, but Real Madrid need to figure out where the player will go because he is a good talent and they should try to sell him to a club that will improve him as a football player.
Angel has loads of talent and with continuity he can become one of the most solid midfielders in the entire country.
Even though he is not the biggest and the strongest midfielder that you will find, Angel's technicality and core strength is much, much better than people believe, and there is a lot to be excited about for any club that eventually signs him.
Angel would be a success story even if it isn't at Real Madrid. It remains to be seen where that would happen, though.
