Real Madrid certain about signing Premier League superstar
Real Madrid find themselves in a world of trouble right now with injuries once again having a negative impact on Carlo Ancelotti's side. Eder Militao is ruled out for the season. Rodrygo and Lucas Vazquez were injured in the last game before the international break as well. Players like Dani Carvajal, Thibaut Courtois, Aurelien Tchouameni and David Alaba remain out as well.
That is a world-class list of players that is not available to Ancelotti. So, it should come as no surprise that Real Madrid have struggled for form this season.
One could question the club's relative lack of activity when it comes to transfers in recent years, which has left them light on options in a number of areas, especially the defence. Could they bring in a Premier League superstar to fill in one of the gaps at the back?
As reported by MARCA, the name of Trent Alexander-Arnold has been taking up space and time in the meetings held at Valdebebas for some time. It doesn't matter when, but what everyone agrees on is that the arrival of the Liverpool full-back could be one of Real Madrid's next big moves. Now the debate is centred on whether to wait as set out in the roadmap or try to make something happen faster which could serve as a relief for Ancelotti's squad in terms of injuries.

Trent is one of the best right-backs in the world right now. Having come through the youth ranks at Liverpool, he has won everything possible with his boyhood club and the Reds seem capable of challenging on all fronts this season, and are leading the Premier League by 5 points right now.
Trent's long-term future at Liverpool remains in doubt though. His current deal runs out in the summer and he has not agreed an extension yet.
It remains to be seen if Real Madrid are able to bring him in, as many fans expect them to. The club have a wonderful track record of signing world-class players as free agents. Of course, there is the possibility that they could try to bring him in even earlier but that feels unlikely.
