Real Madrid are determined to win the inaugural Club World Cup in its new format. The competition has become all the more competitive with the updated rules, and fans are loving it.

Though there have been complaints about players getting less time for post-season rest, increasing the chances of injuries moving forward, these concerns have been entirely subdued by the glamour of the competition.

And the glamour is indeed blinding. The prize money for winning the Club World Cup is too huge to ignore. But even before reaching the final reward, Real Madrid have already made a significant amount by playing just two games.

According to Madrid Xtra on X, Los Blancos have made a total of 38 million euros from the Club World Cup so far. The breakdown is such that they have bagged a staggering 35 million just for participating, an additional 2 million for the win against Pachuca, and 1 million for the draw against Al Hilal.

The Club World Cup is Real Madrid’s chance to have a bombshell transfer window

We know how active Los Blancos have become in the transfer market again. They are signing the biggest players left, right, and centre, while others can only watch.

They hijacked Franco Mastantuono from Paris Saint-Germain, who were only a few days away from signing the Argentine. Dean Huijsen, too, who was being pursued by several major clubs, was convinced easily to join the club of his dreams.

All these big signings could not have been completed without the massive sums shelled out by Real Madrid. The club spent nearly 100 million euros for signing both youngsters.

But it appears that the club has not stopped yet. More signings are underway, more signings should should be underway, and the first could be Alvaro Carreras after the Club World Cup.

It is calculated that a total of 125 million euros can be won by the club that goes on to win the competition. This amount is not small. Having such a big influx could immediately encourage Real Madrid to make even bigger signings, without having to worry about the finances.
