Real Madrid have been dealing with a plethora of injuries to key players this season and as a result, head coach Carlo Ancelotti has had to play a makeshift starting XI and rely on performances from players that he wouldn't normally rely on.
With injuries in the midfield to key players like Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni and adding the retirement of Toni Kroos, Carlo Ancelotti has had to rely on his squad players to give top class performances in the midfield. Much to the surprise of many, the squad players have been holding their own with the pressure on them.
One of the players Ancelotti has had to rely on is Dani Ceballos. The midfielder, who has had somewhat of an up and down time at the club but is finally getting some regular minutes in the team.
With all of this playing time he has been getting, the club has made up their minds about Ceballos' future at the club.
Real Madrid make decision on midfielders future at the club
As discussed by Madrid Universal, Real madrid have made in clear that they have no intentions of letting midfielder Dani Ceballos leave the club as he has become a key player coming off the bench.
Ceballos has had a string of impressive performances this season and has done a great job accepting his role at the club which has lead to him retaining his place among the squad.
Ceballos is often in the shadow of the other midfield stars like Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga but when the Spaniard gets his minutes he takes full advantage of them and puts in incredibly underrated performances.
The Spaniard has been rumored to be looking at his options outside of Real Madrid during the summer, and the club seemed open to selling him for an acceptable offer but that seems to have changed.
Now that he has earned himself regular minutes, the club are eager to keep the player and have full confidence in his ability to keep contributing at a top level.
