Real Madrid's new superstar Kylian Mbappe has been a success so far. No matter what people say, 31 goals by the end of March is objectively good for any player involved. He will inevitably touch 40, maybe even 50 goals to end the season, and if people think that is bad, then almost nothing is good.
Mbappe has achieved a lot in his almost 10-year career so far. He has won countless league titles, cups, he has won the FIFA World Cup, and has his eyes set on a maiden Champions League with Real Madrid.
He may win it this season, and he may not, but it feels inevitable, especially after joining Real Madrid. However, Mbappe has his eyes set on yet another goal.
Mbappe has already achieved a lot in his international football career - a World Cup silver's medal to go with the winner from four years before. And now he wants to win it again.
Mbappe, before his second match against Croatia in three days, said that he wants to feel the glory once again.
Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe said: "I want to be world champion in 2026 with our team.”
There is no reason for Mbappe to not win the trophy again. This would be Didier Deschamps' last tournament as France coach, and he would want to leave on a high.
France have one of the most talented pool of players in world football, with the likes of Eduardo Camavinga, Bradley Barcola and Desire Doue coming along well too.
They should start hitting their prime around that time, and it would be really difficult to beat this squad when they finally hit their prime.
Forget those players. Mbappe himself would be 27, and he would be alongside an Ousmane Dembele that could even be better than how he has been this year. Aurelien Tchouameni, William Saliba, all of them will start hitting their prime during that time, which would align perfectly.
In football, you never know, and France have struggled at times, even with a talented squad. However, if there is any time to do it, it would be 2026, when the entire world would know just how good this squad is.
