Real Madrid, no matter what happens, must not sell Brahim Diaz anywhere this summer, no matter how much they may be open to doing so.
This is not to say that they are or are not open to selling him, but Brahim is one of the few players in the squad who is happy with a smaller role, and those sort of players do not come to Real Madrid that often.
Obviously, if given a choice, he would rather play more for the club than less, but Brahim seems like the perfect teammate for a number of reasons.
He never complains about his minutes. No matter who the coach is, the Moroccan international is always open to playing whatever role is wanted from him. He gets on well with everyone on the team. He runs a lot, works hard, does other stars' dirty work for them.
Lastly, Brahim just loves the club. He has been at the club since January of 2019, which was a move that not many people expected Real Madrid to make at that time.

Since then, Brahim has always put his head down and done well. There have been so many moments where of all the stars, Brahim was the one who shone the brightest. The goals against Atletico Madrid, the screamer against Leipzig - there are some brilliant individual moments that Brahim has produced in his Real Madrid career, and these sorts of players are not that common for the club.
Obviously, there are times where fans are mad about some of his decision-making, or when he holds on to the ball for too long, but there are so many more things that people just do not notice. He's always the first attacker to hound the defender to win the ball in a higher offensive position. Brahim is also keen on tracking back and helping his full-back and midfielders in dealing with danger from the opponents.
There have been games where Brahim has got the nod over some of the stars strictly because of how fluid he is in any system and how hard he works to complement those who don't run too much off the ball.
Brahim is one of the more expendable assets that Real Madrid have - especially now after the club has supposedly signed Yan Diomande and now have two other players battling for the right-wing spot in him and Endrick. But, players like Brahim, as proven in the past, always stick around more often than not.
