Real Madrid predicted lineup for Champions League clash with Liverpool

Real Madrid travel to Anfield Stadium to face Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League tonight. So, here is our Real Madrid predicted lineup vs Liverpool.

Real Madrid need to put more points on the Champions League board. There is no other way to put it, the champions have been disappointing in Europe this season.

However, even with key players injured heading into the clash, Carlo Ancelotti will feel confident about picking up a result away from home. He won't be haunted by Anfield Stadium, since he has experience of facing Liverpool.

GK - Thibaut Courtois. Again, the Belgian has plenty of experience of facing Liverpool from his time both with Real Madrid and with Chelsea. Returning from injury recently, Ancelotti will be glad to have the best goalkeeper in the world back.

RB - Federico Valverde. Still seems weird seeing Fede in the defence, doesn't it? While the position does limit him, Valverde is no stranger to playing out wide. Given the injury crisis, it's great that he's stepped in to fill a position of need.

CB - Antonio Rudiger. The most senior defender available to Carlo Ancelotti. He is the saving grace in an otherwise injury-hit back-line.

CB - Raul Asencio. Seen a real increase in his minutes, due to the injury crisis. He could make a serious name for himself here, with his Champions League debut.

LB - Ferland Mendy. It's been another lucky occurrence that Ferland Mendy has remained unscathed at the back. Rotation here will not be on Ancelotti's mind, Mendy will keep his place.

CM - Luka Modric. Didn't start at the weekend, which we can only assume means that Ancelotti has the veteran in mind for midweek. His experience could come in handy, we only hope he keeps up with the pace of the match.

CM - Eduardo Camavinga. The box-to-box presence will be brought by Camavinga. He will be dragged in all sorts of positions at Anfield but there's nobody better to provide the engine room.

CM - Jude Bellingham. Jude will be coming up against some of his English teammates. However, he will be eager to put on a show for his beloved Real Madrid, having scored at the weekend.

RW: Kylian Mbappe. Injuries on the wing could force Carlo Ancelotti to finally play Kylian Mbappe out wide. This might even be to Real Madrid's gain, as Mbappe offers a lot out wide.

CF: Endrick. Having made one start in the UEFA Champions League already, Brazil superstar Endrick could be afforded a start in a central attacking position.

LW: Arda Guler. Guler started at the weekend and impressed, providing an assist. Given that he was hooked off the pitch early, Carlo Ancelotti likely has him in mind to play on the left0wjng against Liverpool.
