Real Madrid could replace Carlo Ancelotti at the end of this season

Carlo Ancelotti's second stint at Real Madrid is coming to an end. According to reports in Germany, the Italian coach will be replaced at the end of the season.
Real Madrid have had a horrid start to the season. They appeared to have a sense of control but towards the end of October and start of November, Los Blancos completely lost their grip.
Carlo Ancelotti's frailties are now beginning to be exposed. The Italian coach deserves the utmost respect of Real Madrid and everyone connected to the club. However, for the sake of Real's future, a reshuffling is needed at the helm.
And now, reports in Germany are suggesting that this might be Carlo Ancelott's last season at the Bernabeu.
Real Madrid could replace Carlo Ancelotti at the end of this season
According to a report from BILD, Carlo Ancelotti will only be the Real Madrid manager until the end of the 2024/25 season. After then, he will leave the club before the end of his contract.
It is believed that Real Madrid will enter talks with club legend Xabi Alonso in the second half of the campaign.
The report claims that two Germans are to blame for Carlo Ancelotti's demise at Real Madrid. Firstly, the Spanish capital has failed to replace Toni Kroos' importance in the midfield.
Secondly, Hansi Flick's quick start at Barcelona has highlighted the shortcomings of Carlo Ancelotti this season.
Therefore, Florentino Perez has lost faith in Carlo Ancelotti. There was a report which emerged last week stating that the club president wanted to bring in a fresh approach on the touchline. This has not changed.
Reading between the lines, Florentino Perez would not have been happy with Real Madrid losing against AC Milan. While Milan are an incredibly large club and have great pedigree in the UEFA Champions League, it was a match which Real Madrid had to win.
There is never any doubt about Real Madrid's qualification for Europe. However, as it stands Real Madrid are not within an immediate qualification place in the Champions League group phase. They have won two matches and lost two matches, definitely not good enough.
I must reiterate, it will be sad to see Carlo Ancelotti leave. He is one of the best managers of all time and certainly one of Real Madrid's best. However, it is a change which unfortunately must happen for the redirection of the club.
