Real Madrid have ben very active in this year's summer transfer window. They have signed four players and it is not even August yet, which is a good sign.

A slightly less encouraging sign is that the club have sort of slowed down their operations on signing any more players, as there haven't been many rumors since their last signing, Alvaro Carreras, was announced.

Real Madrid have shown interest in Ibrahima Konate many times, but it is being reported that they will try for him as a free agent next summer.

However, there is one player that, even though Real Madrid do not have the space for him, would be perfect for the club. And he just became available.

There are rumors that Alexander Isak wants to leave Newcastle United this summer, with Liverpool being frontrunners to sign the Swedish striker - something that could have a ripple effect on Rodrygo's future.

Real Madrid have two cornerstone pieces in the attack in Vinicius Jr and Kylian Mbappe. There is not a lot to dream about here in terms of new signings, as the two they have are already so, so good. At least they are individually.

Real Madrid are the perfect club for Alexander Isak, and vice versa

If you randomly throw Isak into the mix, he automatically becomes the perfect striker for Real Madrid. In this new generation, Isak is the closest thing to a Karim Benzema in the sense that he is exceptional in tight spaces and has a brilliant footballing IQ that surpasses most in the world

He can link up with midfielders and fellow forwards with relative ease, and is a world-beater. The only problem is, Real Madrid would not really have space for him.

For the club to sign him, they would have to get rid of one of Vinicius Jr and Kylian Mbappe, which, let's be honest, might not happen.

However, strictly hypothetically, it would make things much more coherent and synergic.

Mbappe on the left, Isak in the middle, with Franco Mastantuono on the right? That is an excellent front three, one that works even better for Mbappe than the current one.

I am not entertaining the sale of Vinicius Jr at all, but if the club were to sell him, because of his form or contract situation, then Isak would be an instant no-brainer signing. If only the timelines had matched.
