Real Madrid have already started planning the signings they want to make in the summer transfer window. They have a few targets in mind, and hopefully something is able to brew for the club, as they desperately need a few positions reinforced in June, including a midfielder.

Real Madrid's center-back position is something that has caused a lot of drama and attention for the club in recent times. In the last two years, Real Madrid have needed a center-back and have still refused to sign one.

That is why Dean Huijsen could be beneficial for the club, and he has shown in the past that he is fond of the Royal Whites. He declined the opportunity to move to Valdebebas when he left Juventus, but this time around, his decision might be a bit different.

Huijsen recently talked about the club's interest in him, and he gave a very open-door answer for whether he would like to move to the club in the summer.

Huijsen was honored to see interest from Real Madrid, and left the door open with his answer

He said: "It’s an honor when such a big club is interested in me. I’m only thinking about ending the season well, then when the time comes, we’ll see.”

Last season, Real Madrid lost Eder Militao and David Alaba to long-term injury and relied on two center-backs for the entirety of the season.

This time around, they have lost Militao again, and Nacho Fernandez has also left the club, which means they have to keep on going with just two, sometimes three center-backs, with Alaba not in perfect form.

If you put two and two together, it is not difficult to guess why Real Madrid would want to go for a player like Huijsen. He is clearly very good. He is massive, and the club could do with a player like him.

The best thing about Huijsen is that he will not cost 100 million euros. He has a decent release clause, and is only 19 years old, which means Real Madrid could well go for him in the summer.
