Potentially signing the €150 million Galáctico will reportedly not stop Real Madrid from going for at least three or four more signings, according to a report from MARCA, via TheMadridZone.

Real Madrid have been linked with so many superstars in the last few days, especially after Florentino Pérez announced that he would send a bid of €150 million for a Galáctico-level player on Tuesday.

Since then, there have been reports about the player being Michael Olise, Julián Álvarez, João Neves or Vitinha.

Frankly, no one knows who it is or who it could be, and we will find out on the day whether something even happens or not.

Even if Real Madrid do sign the supposed Galáctico, fans have been worried about the club not addressing their other needs.

There are many positions in the squad that need signings before the attack. The attack itself has enough players for Madrid to not need another signing for a few years, and if anything, they need to sell or loan out a few players before any more additions.

On the other hand, Real Madrid still need a midfielder, and they need one or two defenders as well. All of this has left fans concerned about whether these needs will actually be addressed or whether they will be sacrificed for the president's superstar signing.

Marca have now reported that Real Madrid will continue looking to address those needs in the coming weeks, regardless of whether they sign the superstar or not.

That is a really good thing, and it also shows that Florentino Pérez has recognised the dire need for the squad to receive some fresh blood.

They need another central defender who can potentially play as a left-back. They also need a creative midfielder and a defensive midfielder, and if they sell some of the players who have reportedly been placed on the transfer list, the need becomes even greater.

For example, If Eduardo Camavinga leaves, they would have to sign a defensive midfielder as backup to Aurélien Tchouaméni.

There is a general need for several more additions to the squad before you even get to the attack.

Real Madrid should rather work on improving the squad as a whole with €40–50 million signings that would improve both the depth and overall quality of the team. However, if Pérez is really fixated on signing the superstar, it is at least encouraging to read that the rest of the squad's needs will not be sacrificed.
