It has always been a complicated relationship for the fans to be playing this game. On one hand, it has some of their best players - sometimes as cover stars - and on the other hand, the game can be slightly annoying and baffling on occasion.
Nevertheless, EAFC 26's cover star, according to recent reports from reliable EA insiders like FutSheriff, is going to be a Real Madrid player once again.
Jude Bellingham will be on the cover for the second year running, and it makes perfect sense

Bellingham is a brand name. Kylian Mbappe is a brand name. Vinicius Jr - another brand name. There are so many Real Madrid players that could easily be on the cover of a game, or be the brand ambassadors of some of the biggest brands in the world.
That is what ends up happening as well. Wherever we go, usually, there is a chance that a Real Madrid player would be leading the charge.
It is usually the big names, and Bellingham is one of them. He has done stuff for Adidas, Skins, Louis Vitton and so many other brands, that it is hard not to think about how influential the Englishman is becoming on and off the football pitch.
EAFC 25 had mixed reviews, but the cover of the game was really nice - especially the one including David Beckham and Bellingham's idol Zinedine Zidane. So, hopefully the cover and the game are as good as each other.
