They need to see to contract extensions, sales, signings and so many other things, it is difficult to see them get a free day.
Real Madrid will have their work cut out for them, but they are making some decisions early into their break.
They have already signed Thibaut Courtois to a contract extension that will keep him around at the club till at least 2027.

It makes complete sense for them to give him a renewal. He is easily the best goalkeeper in the world, who has saved the club more times than anyone can count. I mean that in every sense of the word.
It is a brilliant move, and the details of the move make it even more interesting, and it gives Courtois something that no one has had before.
Real Madrid have a rule of giving only one-year extensions that they decide at the end of every season, like what they did with Luka Modric.
But, this time, the rule has an exception. Courtois' contract was running till 2026 already, but now, he has been given an extension already despite having another year left. He also has received a salary boost, which is also not the case with most 30+ negotiations.
Real Madrid usually go for a decreasing salary each passing year, but with Courtois, it is not the case.
I would usually agree with Real Madrid about these contract extension policies. It gives the club the upper hand and they only renew the player when there is a possibility of their output staying the same, or at least similar.
Now, with Courtois, it is different. You know he is going to provide the output for a couple more years. Goalkeepers usually play for a bit longer, anyway. And it is going to be brilliant to see Courtois save Real Madrid's behinds for the next few years.
