Over the recent years, Real Madrid has had a tough time when it comes to youngsters at the club. Whether they come from the club's academy system or are brought in from elsewhere around the world, more often than not, they struggle to break into the first team squad and end up playing their football away from Real Madrid.

There have been a few exceptions with players like Nico Paz, who is currently at Como, but has shown he has what it takes to play for Real Madrid and will surely be returning to the club next summer.

Another exception seems to be striker Gonzalo Garcia. The 21-year-old came through the academy and, after a stellar Club World Cup this summer, has many fans calling for him to get a chance in the starting lineup.

While he does seem like a player Xabi Alonso likes, there are still questions surrounding his place within the squad, which is why he is gaining interest from clubs in the January transfer window.

Three potential landing spots for Gonzalo Garcia if Real Madrid chooses a sale

As being reported by Fichajes (via Transfer News Live on X) Real Madrid have reportedly received three offers, all in the range of around €20 million for Gonzalo Garcia and are said to be considering the offers. The report states that all three offers came from the Premier League, with the teams being Sunderland, Aston Villa, and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 21-year-old burst onto the scene with Real Madrid during the Club World Cup this summer as he was called into action by Xabi Alonso to be the starting striker in Mbappe's absence and he ended up winning the tournament golden boot. Since then Gonzalo has jumped ahead of Endrick in the pecking order and is now the main backup striker for Xabi Alonso.

So far, Gonzalo has only featured in a handful of games this season only playing 108 minutes across all competitions and has yet to register a goal or an assist.

However, that doesn't take away from the huge amount of potential he has, and he has shown he has what it takes to be a star for Los Blancos in the future. But much like with Endrick, sitting behind Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr could be damaging to a youngster's career, so interest from elsewhere in Europe is not unexpected.

Given what we have seen from Gonzalo when he plays, €20 million looks like quite the bargain if the club decides to sell him. A mid-table Premier League club would be a great place for a youngster like him to develop, and with Sunderland putting up quite the fight in the league this season, he could be a great addition to the newly promoted side.

If Real does end up selling Gonzalo Garcia, a deal similar to the Nico Paz deal would be the smartest. A deal with a buy-back clause so he could return to the club after a few developmental years would be best for both the player and the club.
