Real Madrid are finally doing things the right way in terms of signing good players at the right time.

Real Madrid have developed a habit of waiting around for some players to be available, while neglecting the overall needs of the squad.

That is why the team struggled without many defenders. Good centre-backs are already hard to find, and Real Madrid did not have the luxury to wait around for one anymore.

Dean Huijsen was available at a price which may have been high for them at one point, but they did not care. Xabi Alonso wanted a centre-back, and they went for Huijsen - who was a brilliant option.

Now, Real Madrid have two of the best ball-playing defenders in world football, with Huijsen and Raul Asencio. They have yet to present the former to the Real Madrid faithful, but that will follow soon.

According to Guillermo Rai of The Athletic, via MadridXtra, Real Madrid have finally decided when they will present the player to the fans.

He will be presented after the Nations League matches in the upcoming international break.

It does not leave Real Madrid with a lot of time to present him, as they start preparing for and playing the Club World Cup a week after that.

However, that is what Real Madrid have decided, and it will be fun to see that happen. Real Madrid's last few presentations have been brilliant. Alonso's was a 'normal one', presumably because he is a coach and not a player.

However, Kylian Mbappe and Endrick were presented at the Bernabeu, which is something that Huijsen might enjoy as well.

It remains to be seen whether the club keeps doing the new tradition or returns to the old one.

It is fun to see the character of the player in the presentation. It is fun to decipher their answers in the press conference too, and it'll be good to have a new voice at the Bernabeu.
