For France against Iceland, Kylian Mbappé scored yet another goal. He converted from the penalty spot to draw the game level right before half-time. He also provided the assist for France's winning goal shortly into the second half.
Mbappé's penalty means he has now scored more goals than Arsenal and Barcelona legend Thierry Henry. The French striker, who is regarded as one of the best strikers the game has ever seen, retired from international duty in 2010.
Mbappé has scored 52 goals for France in 92 games, whereas Thierry Henry scored 51 goals in 123 games for France.
As impressive as Mbappé scoring more than the legendary Henry is, it's even more impressive that it took Mbappé only 75% of Henry's performances to outscore him.
Kylian Mbappé is France's second all-time top goal-scorer. He is only bettered by Olivier Giroud right now, who has scored 57 goals for France.
