Vinicius Junior has indicated where his head is at amid reports linking the Real Madrid star with Chelsea. The Brazilian attacker has endured a frustrating season and there have been rumors of disagreements between him and Xabi Alonso.

The 25-year-old isn't used to being subbed off but that's been the case several times this season. He has reacted furiously on more than one occasion which fuelled talk of a potential rift with Alonso.

Reports claim that Chelsea are weighing up an audacious €160 million offer for Vinicius. The Blues have splashed record-breaking amounts of cash over the years and appear to keen to make a blockbuster signing.

Vinicius hints at future plans

While speculation over Vinicius' future has taken hold throughout the season it seems he is only focused on continuing his career at the Bernabeu. He reposted Madrid's social media post celebrating his 150th appearance in a Los Blancos shirt which included a snap of him posing with a shirt alongside Florentino Perez.

Vinicius wrote in response on his Instagram story:

"A Por Mas (translating to On to more)"

Vinicius has been at Madrid since the summer of 2018 and grown into one of the top stars in the Spanish capital. He has enjoyed many memorable moments including scoring the winner in a 1-0 win over Liverpool in the 2022 Champions League final.

This season has been a difficult one for him but he has still registered five goals and six assists in 19 La Liga games. He will be hoping to add to that tally on Thursday (January 8th) in the Spanish Super Cup against Atletico Madrid.

The rumor linking Vinicius with Chelsea isn't the only time he has been mooted for a move away. There were talks of him heading to the Saudi Pro League earlier this year but he reportedly turned down an 'astronomical' offer.

According to Defensa Central, Vinicius has told the club's hierachy that he wants to stay "for many more years." He will have a year left on his contract in the summer so you'd expect talks over a new deal to intensify in the coming months.

Vinicius has been at odds with sections of the Madrid fanbase this year which included being booed against Sevilla and Real Betis. But showing he intends to stay and re-find his best form could help mend that relationship.
