With the arrival of new manager Xabi Alonso, a number of players could find themselves in tricky situations with the new manager. Major changes are expected under the new regime which could have a major impact on a number of players.

One player in particular who could find themselves in a tricky situation is Rodrygo. For most of Carlo Ancelotti's tenure, the Brazilian was an undisputed starter. However, with the arrival of Kylian Mbappe, his impact in the team took a massive drop which has led to speculation about his future at the club.

Add on top of that Alonso arriving as the new manager and the talks of a coming change in formation and tactics, Rodrygo could be on his way out at Real Madrid.

Rodrygo would help Arsenal more than Chelsea

As being reported by AS, Chelsea and Arsenal are keeping an eye on Rodrygo's situation at Real Madrid ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window as a potential sale has not been ruled out.

After a hot start to the season, Rodrygo saw his game time slashed coinciding with a drastic drop in form.

If he were to move to the Premier League, I think it is safe to say he fits one team far more than the other. While Rodrygo would be a guaranteed starter anywhere, Arsenal are a much better team than Chelsea, and also fit Rodrygo's game style a lot more.

With a new striker, Arsenal would look much more dangerous, and it would be good to see Rodrygo play on his preferred left side more.

It has been a long time coming that Rodrygo gets a move to a team that lets him play on the left, and although anything is far from decided, if it is Arsenal, a move would make sense.

Arsenal have a lot in them to play attacking football, and they could really use an upgrade on Gabriel Martinelli. Although Martinelli scored against Real Madrid, he is not a very reliable winger, and Rodrygo would be a huge upgrade on him.

The Brazilian struggled to gain his place back under Carlo Ancelotti and with his place still up in the air under the arriving Xabi Alonso, Rodrygo could play his future football away from the Santiago Bernabeu.
